Correction: Home Depot and Emet News Service
In a post from Sunday, I took Home Depot to task, and, among other claims, indicated that co-chairman of the board Bernard Marcus was also on the board of Emet News Service. A person claiming to be the owner and publisher of Emet has posted a comment indicating that Mr. Marcus is, in fact, not on the Emet board. I’ve checked, and in my initial post I made a mistake while trying to find the Website of the organisation in question: Mr. Marcus was on the board of Emet: An Educational Initiative, Inc., which has since changed its name to the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. This was a careless error on my part, and I apologise to both Emet News Service and to my readers.
